I write web content and copy for digital agencies, small businesses and nonprofits so they can connect with their audiences online and sell their services. Copy projects include marketing content for websites, newsletters, articles, and blog posts.
One of the top ten achievements of the MaRS Library included The Entrepreneur’s Toolkit reaching 2.5 million unique views since inception. Since last fiscal year, page views have increased 128% to 1,300,000 views; video views increased 51% to 180,000; downloads increased 500% to 106,000.
In a two-year project to update its Entrepreneur’s Toolkit, we optimized content for search (SEO) and for user experience. To further augment content moving forward, I also provided MaRS staff with on-page SEO training.
MaRS Discovery District is an Ontario non-profit organization that works with a broad network of partners to help entrepreneurs launch & grow innovative startups – particularly tech & health businesses. MaRS has an extensive content library that offers resources for small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups.

ArtBridges/Toiles Des Arts (a non-profit) is a hub and forum for connection for anyone interested in or active in community-engaged arts and arts for social change in Canada. Stephen Jones is an Oakville lawyer and tax accountant. The initial goal for his website was to create an online brochure that would introduce Steve and his services and to provide an extension to his network and marketing efforts.
